6 Ways You Can be Productive from Home
Are you bored at home, doing the same boring routine over and over again?
Are your days filled with Netflix and literally just chill?
Do you feel like you’d want to be productive but just don’t know how to start?
Here are 6 ways you can be productive from home!
1. Learn a new skill
Time to level up your personal welfare with old and new skills! You may have put off doing certain things because of how busy your life was before MCO. Skills like cooking, music, painting or drawing and etc. Maybe you wanted to learn a language like Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Spanish or German. Perhaps get into online courses to supplement university life. Wait no more! Learn that skill today.

2. Read a book
Yes, that book that’s sitting there in your room collecting dust. Pick it up. Read it! Reading has been said to not only increase emotional intelligence but it also delays early onset of dementia. Diving nose first into the pages of wonderful stories and knowledge also allows you to overcome stress, expand your vocabulary and improve your memory. Also, it's kinder on the eyes than staring at computer or phone screens all day. A great break for your mind and body!
If you haven’t done it yet, it’s probably time you do it now. You’ve got all the time in the world! I personally used the Marie Kondo method of whether things pak choy (spark joy) or not but here are some useful links you can follow to help you get started to a cleaner, clearer living space.

4. Workout from home
Being home isn’t an excuse to ignore your personal needs. Your body used to be able to do fun things, like walk for more than 5 minutes, some of us who are more ambitious would jog. Some of us even play sports like badminton, football, basketball, all the balls and swim! Oh, how I miss swimming. Don’t fail your body by letting it become a potato during this MCO. Potatoes are nice but it’s not nice when it’s on you.
Come, I share you my secret list of online workout YouTube channels
5. Work from home
I bet some of your parents have been saying, “Get a job online la”, “Sure got some kind of work online”, blah blah blah. They are CORRECT! When are parents wrong? Hmm?! Sometimes but not this time!
Getting an online part time job is very possible during MCO. There are a lot of websites that need people to complete tasks. Are they fun? Probably not. Does it matter? No. Why? You need the money.
