With raya just around the corner, we were wondering, which kuih raya are you most looking forward to?

Here's our Top 10 List of Kuih Raya!

10. Biskut Dam

Biskut dam is famous for it's checkered style pattern. Made from a mixture of chocolate and vanilla dough. it's popular to be dunked in piping hot kopi o'!

9. Bahulu kampung

Bahulu comes in all shapes and sizes. It is a traditional snack made from wheat flour, eggs, sugar and baking powder.

It has a very light and fluffy texture, excellent to dip in hot coffee or tea.

8. Bangkit santan

Kuih bangkit has a very crunchy bite to it, but the mix will surprisingly crumble and melt in your mouth.

It is usually white in color, but nowadays people add colorings to make their kuih bangkit more unique.

7. Batang buruk

Batang buruk is a popular, traditional Malay kuih usually made from a mixture of wheat flour, rice flour and coconut flour.

Batang buruk usually has a filling of fried mung beans and typically served in a cylindrical shape.

6. Biskut badam

Biskut Badam (Almond Biscuits) is usually topped with egg yolks (to give it that shiny gloss) and almond halves for a crunh bite.

Biskut badam usually comes in a variety of shapes - from butterflies, to flowers.

5. Kuih suji

Kuih suji usually comprises of three ingredients: ghee, castor sugar and wheat flour. Comes in many different shapes and decorated with many different toppings!

4. Kuih semperit

Also known as "kuih ulat bulu", kuih semperit comes in a variety of ways served: dipped in chocolate, drizzled with sprinkles.

It's made from butter, wheat flour, custard flour, corn flour, egg yolks, vanilla essence, and sugar.

3. Tart nenas

Tart nenas is probably one of the most anticipated kuih muihs during hari raya.

The buttery flour will melt in your mouth, leaving you with a tantalizing sweet pineapple filling to savor.

2. Kuih cornflake

Whether you choose the kuih cornflake madu, or the normal kuih cornflake sans the honey, both are equally addictive, and before you know it, you've eaten 10 pieces in one sitting!

1. Almond London

Perhaps one of the most famous raya cookies! It's always served in a papercup, topped with chocolate and almond nibs.

You will find this is kuih at most houses you go to, so this is our number 1 kuih muih!
